Bonham Fire Department is seeking people who are interested in becoming a volunteer fireman in our organization. The volunteer department meets once a month for business and training. Uniforms and equipment are furnished at no cost. For more information, email volunteers@bonhamfirerescue.org or visit either fire station and ask for information.

They assist families with counseling, court procedures, and many other services. If you are interested in helping by donating materials, diapers, canned food, cash donations, clothing, baby formula, etc. then please contact The Crisis Center at 903-583-7694 or 903-583-7000.
Fannin County Commissioners have lifted the county wide burn ban. Despite recent precipitation, Fannin County and Northeast Texas remain under an Extreme Fire Danger Advisory from the Texas Forestry Service, National Weather Service, and others. All outdoor burning must be monitored at all times and any burning after dark is forbidden. Choose a day when the winds are below 20 mph to burn.
